Tingly Thigh

Without examing you I can not be sure what this is. Disorders such as meralgia paresthetica and local trauma from a camera bag are reasonable thoughts. If there is any weakness associated with this a more extensive evaluation needs to be performed. A EMG (muscle/nerve test) can be performed to assess the lateral femoral nerve and assure that your other nerves are normal. An imaging study of the lower abdomen and pelivs may be reasonable to exclude mass lesions. Good luck

Just a thought. My sister has MS.  One of the things she noticed at the onset of the illness was tingling in her upper thigh which later turned numb.  I understand there is  medication that a person can take with early diagnosis.  I know this because my step sister has been diagnosised with MS also and she is taking the medicine.
