To Bobb Hilton - re: Writer's cramp, and your advise...what will the doctors be looking for?

Thank Bobb.

What would the doctors be looking for? ie: What possible disease.
I thought that the cause writer's cramp is unknown, though theories do exist...

Hi,
Several hyperkinetic (increased) movements is a clear call to rule out WILSON DISEASE!!!
You need to arrange with your GP
1-blood tests,
2-and 24 hour urin copper level
3-A repeat MRI of the head looking at the basal ganglia
4-and a referal to a movement disorder specialist!!

More than one week ago, I woke up with a tongue tremor, and a couple of days later, tongue fascilations after two night of heavy drinking.

Could this be alcohol withrawal or neuropath?  I note that when drink, the tongue tremor disappears, and the fasculations slow.

I was assessed for ALS three years ago, but after four neurologists, and many other doctors ALS was ruled out?  The symptoms disappeared about three years ago.  90 percent of my symptoms disappeared after taking serax.

I had fourteen symtoms, some mimiced ALS, and others MS.

As far as I know
ALS symptoms would not disappear for more than three years, and then return.
Am I correct?

My hgbA1C tests were good, and I do finger stick each morning. I have tried the glucosamine, for 6 months and didn's see any improvement. I will try the gel caps, as I have had GERD in the past, and a laparscopic nissan fundiplication to treat it, which has been very successful. Any updates on new treatments would be great. I would like to avoid invasive surgery if possible as I'm on 59, but am finding it increasingly difficult to function. Happy Easter YIC
