Top of hand pain, shooting up arm

by beckaboo120, Nov 27, 2008 11:15AM
I have right hand pain and pain in my right forearm. I have had it for 3 yrs and its getting worse. I have been tested for carpal tunnel (they found a mild case), had a nerve test done, bone scan, seen several orthopedic surgeons. Noone can help me. The last dr I went to said "sorry, there is nothing I can, now I'll take your payment". I am so appauled by the system and have just about given up, except for the fact that this pain is not going away. I am seeing a reumatologist in December, yet I have no faith in the dr's. Anyone have right (throbbing) pain in top of hand and pain in right arm. It hurts to do anything. Type, touch my husband, pick up my kids. I need an answer...help
