Topamax

My sister has MS. She was recently given Topamax for headaches. Sometimes she still gets severe headaches. Is it ok to take Tylenol with topamax?

Yes, it's ok to take Tylenol. I take Topamax which reduces the frequency of migraines. Sometimes I still get a migraine and tylenol is the only drug I can take in addition.  I also have fibromyalgia and take daily Ultracet - which  also contains acetominophen (Tylenol).

I take topamax for seizures, and originally took it for migraines.  I was told I could take my migraine meds for migraines, so I assume Tylenol is fine.  I take Maxalt when I get a migraine.  The doctor also prescribed a generic advil type med.  Of course, I'm just another patient, not a doctor....
