Torn Thoracic Ligament/Muscle

by LeoLady, Aug 14, 2007 06:23PM

I have been having intermittent moderate to severe pain on my mid back, which radiates around the sides, causing burning aching, stabbing sensation in my stomach and chest.  The pain gets so severe feels as though I have a difficult time breathing.  MRI reflects nothing out of the norm with disc.  The pain sometimes radiates into my left arm, the more I use the arm the more painful it gets.  Could all of this be caused by a torn ligament or muscle and how can I determine this is the problem.  I stained my back about 4 months ago and I have had various problems from arms to legs and have been diagnosed with 3 bulding discs in my neck and 2 in my lumbar spine.

Thank you so much for your time.

SOUNDS LIKE COMPENSATORY MUSCLE PAIN AND SPASM. I THINK YOU NEED TO SEE A GOOD PHYSICAL THERAPIST WHO UNDERSTANDS THESE PROBLEMS
