: My neighbor's son has tourettes syndrome. We've heard that the Cleveland Clinic is the best around for the treatment of the disorder. What can you tell me about your program?
Yes, you have heard correctly. The pediatric neurology program at the clinic have a number of neurologist with special interests. Dr. Gerald Erenberg is the specialist in Tourette syndrome. I have worked with Dr Erenberg and really enjoy his approach and style with children. The best way to set up an appointment is to call 216-444-5559 or 1-800-223-2273 ext. 45559 to arrange an appointment. There may be a wait for a new evaluation. After the evaluation, information is generally given to the parents. There is also an Ohio chapter run by Linda Jordan 1-800-543-2675 or the National Tourette syndrome Association, Inc. 1-800-237-0717. Please let us know if we may be of more assistance.
