Toxic mold!

I have asthma attack, bloody noise, headachs, to memory problems, to limp pain - unable to unfold my knee, and even ripple around my tough after two episodes of numbed tough. What kind of doctor should I see? What kind of test should I get because all the test he put me threw has failed. My family doctor upsets me because he doesn't believe it's mold when I know when I have been and when my symptom acts ups. It is too obvious to me but my doctor just doesn't seen like he is willing to do anything. I am really worry by now since I was since for months from the day the mold in my apartment appeared. I am really scare that i will have another asthma attack and major coughing from being near my belonging because I think it still has mold spores on it. I had all these symptom the next day when I went to get my belongings and now I am expose to them again so I am very worry about having another asthma attack. What can I do to prepare for it?

Hi there.

I believe that your asthma attacks can be related to the mold problems, however, the other symptoms of memory, pain, and neurologic problems can be very hard to pin on the mold angle.  If the molds are causing your asthma attacks, then it is best to get rid of the allergen as early as they develop.  Keeping your place dry through proper aeration or using dehumidifiers may also help lessen the chance of mold build up.  For your other symptoms, it may be fruitful to see a neurologist to have you evaluated thoroughly and possibly offer some explanation.  I hope you and your doctors can get to the bottom of this soon.
