Translate conclusion

I need help understanding the meaning of the conclusion to my daughters MRI of brain with contrast.
Conclusion:
!.)Stable nonenhancing 5mm T2 hyperintense, T1 Hypointense lesion at the splenium of the corpus callosum.
In the findings the above same thing is stated and goes on to say Although this may represent a congenital cyst or sequelae of demyelinating disease, the morphology is more consistent with sequela of prior trauma.  No other white matter lesions.  No other lesion in the corpus collosum or temporal lobes.  No intracranial mass or mass effect.Gray white junctions are distinct.  Brainstem and cerebellum are normal in appearance.  Flow voids are identified in the anterior and posteriorcirculation.  No area of restricted diffusion.  No abnormal regions of enhancement.
My daughter was involved in a MVA where she broke/fractured the c1 & suffered from a severe blow to the head and brachial plexus injury.  We cannot get in to see the specialist until late January and I just want to have a better understanding of the conclusions so I will know what to be prepared for.
Thank you!

Thanks for your comment.  It is scary and emotionally exhausting.  Thanks again for the comment.  She is so young to be going through this!

It is simply saying she has a prior injury which is not getting worse, which when compared with a prior MRI (or if they are planning on doing another one later on, which they should), would most likely show it is getting better. Good news, relax and the appointment will come soon.
