Treatments for Cervical Radiculopathy

Hello all, I was going to post this in the Doctor section but unfortunately the question limit is keeping me from doing so.

I have Cervical Radiculopathy, and lately it's become apparent to me how much worse the pain in my head/face/neck/back and left arm has become. I was shown to have a bulging disc at C6-C7 over a year ago, and also told it was DDD(Degenerative Disc Disease).

I recently had a pain medication change, and since it isn't working the amount of pain I've been in has been considerably worse compared to when the issue began.

My question is, has anyone had these symptoms and pain successfully removed or stopped by surgery? If so, what surgery and how long was the recovery time? I need to make an appointment with a new Neurologist soon, so I'm looking for some feedback.

Thank you!

For these type of cases where medication is of no help and the degeneration is not limited then surgery is the best option.
Recovery would happen afte surgery followed by some Physiotherapy advisable to be done by a good neurosurgeon at a good facility. Full recovery will be after couple of months.
Take care!
