Tremor in Finger

Im 24 from England, I think this is going to be a long explanation, so Id sit back and relax before you start reading!!

Since the age of about 14-15 i have had a tremor in my right hand on my finger next to my lettle finger. I got an electric shock from a mains cable at this time and it seemed to be around this time that it started, various doctors told me it was nerve and muscle damage. This remained the same for several year with no change in the frequency or severity of the tremor.

THe tremor occured when i moved the finger, i.e. if i just rested my hand on a table it wouldnt move.

around 18 months ago, i started to get a funny sensation in my right elbow, it felt like something tugging on the tendon very slightly in my arm, i noticed this when i was at work typing on the laptop. it lasted for a couple of days, then went so i just put it down to a trapped nerve. A week or so later, it came back, but i also got a twitch in one of the muscles in my legs (can't remeber which one). again these subsided and i thought it was a coincidence (spelling!?!?). this process repeated, with an extra muscle joining in with the tremors every time it occured.

Gradually over the last 18 months this has got worse, it still is not at the point where it is affecting me in any way, and to look at me no one can notice it, other than when i hold a pice of paper the paper shakes due to the muscle tremor in my hand.

all of the fingers in my left hand now tremor when held in a certain position, but again the severity of the tremor comes and goes some days i can get away with hardly noticing it, other my fingers seem to "stick" in a certain position, nothing that cant be sorted out when i think about moving it.

All in all, its abit wierd, i cant name a muscle in my body that hasnt had a tremor, but the tremor doesnt affect the movement of any of my limbs, (other than my fingers on occasions), they just feel like someone is tapping on my leg with their finger (its hard to explain really).

Ive put my symptoms into google and holy moly im going to be dead within a year!!! ALS (never heard of it, but i know what it is now), Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis a whole variety of illnesses that are gonna leave me disabled in 10 years.

If im honest i've beem stressed out at work, and this elbow tremor that first started 18 months ago was about the time when the stress started. Work in construction and my manager was a uselss t**t so i ended up doin all the work, on a £16m school rebuild i was snowed under and didnt have a clue what i was doin, n im stressed out now cos ive got 4 jobs on, including that school cos we didnt get it finished on time!!

Anyways I'm divulging!!

Am I going to be disabled in a few years or am i stressed out? oh also, when i was about 14 i had an operation on my kidneys, a euriteric reimplantation or somthing, basically one of my kidneys got damaged when i was younger due to a urine reflux into the kidney. Ive read somewhere that mineral difficiencies can cause it. Also i get alot of headaches, but i sometimes think thats stress, either that or my brain is packing up and im ready for the scrap heap.

At 24 though, seems a shame doesnt it!!!!!

Hi,
Feel like you have had a lot of self study on your own. To think to have lot of disorders, then everyone should have all these.
It looks like a nerve compression syndrome.
A clinical examination is must to be sure of provisional diagnosis and work up.
Have an meeting scheduled with your physician
