Hi, pain related with trigeminal neuralgia is usually treated with carbamazepine, topiramate, phenytoin, gabapentin and opioids like methadone and tramadol. Before initiatation of therapy, diagnosis should be confirmed. People respond differently to same drugs hence at times combinations of different drugs are tried to find out suitable combo.
