Twitching/Jerking Thumb

Twitching/Jerking Thumb

Hello,

I'm a 22 year old male, very healthy, eat right and exercise.

About 3 months ago i began to notice this twitching in the thumb pad area of my left hand. I could sit there and watch it twitch, and it sometimes is so bad it "pulls" on my thumb, making the thumb move. When this happens i experience a weird pressure like feeling in the area. I did some research on my own and the pressure and twitch seem to be coming from the median nerve area, just above the thumb pad.

It did this for a month and a half non-stop, seriously like every 2-3 minutes, every day. Then strangely it stopped for about 2-3 weeks...never twitched once. Well it started up again about 2 weeks ago, and its going non-stop again.

I haven't done anything to cause it that i know of, and i cant think of anything i would have done to make it stop when it did.

Also on a side note, and it totally may be unreleated, but i have this violent twitching occuring on my right temple. It occurs directly in the middle of my temple, and occurs about every 10 mins. Its been going non-stop as well for about a month.

Just trying to figure out whats going on with me. Thanks everyone.
