34 year old male
About 7 months ago I started to get a twitch around my eye lid or the bottom of my eye. It lasted about a month. During this period of time I was also Marathon training and noticed that my toes would twitch after some of my longer runs (10 miles or more). I dismissed it as muscle fatigue and a result of putting in lots of miles. After the marathon was over in October I quit running for about a 2 months to rest some training injuries that built up over time. At that point my toes and calves calmed down quite a bit and I stopped having twitches all together. At the end of that period I started to get toe twitches again and started to get twitches in my thumbs as well. Now, my toes are twitching quite a bit at night and throughout the day. Occasionally my thumbs will twitch but not as often. I have no sighns of muscle weaknessWeakness, balance problems, no problems with sight, smellSmell - impaired Stools - foul smelling, swallowingPainful swallowing Swallowing difficulty, etc. I am getting a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys anxious that this is some serious problem although I know with BFS that some of the very commen twitches are around the eyes, the thumbs, and calves. The toes twitching or tingling is what is making me nervous. I also think that the anxiety of this makes it worse at times. I plan on going to the doctor soon about this but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts. Thanks
