Dear Lamar:
No it is not contra-indicated for fibromyalgia in general. Often, it has little effect. Whether or not it is absolutely contraindicated would be the etiology of the fibromyalgia. If it is thought to be mitochondrial in etiology, then yes I would stay away from tylenol. If the etiology is unclear and tylenol works then by all means take it. What we find is that tylenol just doesn't work as well. This could be to the lack of anti-inflammatory effect of tylenol.
