Ulnar nerve

I have has 3 surgeries on my right arm in the last 2 years to repair ulnar nerve damage. the first 2 were transpositions and the last was transposition, decompression w/ medial epicondilectomy. My question is is it normal to have sharp pains radiating from the elbow into the shoulder and a popping sensation in the elbow joint following these surgeries. I have lost alot of strenght following these surgeries and still have significant pain in the entire arm. It has been 6 months since the last surgery. Is there any other options to fix this problem?

Your questions are quite valid. They would, however, be better answered by the surgeon who operated on your elbow. He or she would better know what was encountered anatomically at surgery that may cause the popping in your elbow. Pain usually does not radiate up to the shoulder after these procedures, but again, your surgeon would be a better source for such information.
