Uncomfortable arms

Occasionally, I get a feeling in my arms either one or both where they suddenly get limp and weak and I cannot lift them.  At the same time, they are very weak and tingle and the nerves or muscles in them shake.  It is a very uncomfortalbe feeling.  the feelimg usually lasts a couple minutes.  when it happens I can feel it coming on.  this morning I got up and then sat down on a chair and felt the tingling and uncomfortable numbness or limpness and then the tingling started and it lasted in both arms about 5 minutes.  It went away and then about 10 minutes later it started in one of my arms and then shook or twitched for about a minute.  This has come on in the past year and usually happens every couple months.
