Understanding my MRI results?

I've had an MRI and my doctor is referring me to specialist.  Until that appt is made I am left wondering what my MRI results mean:

Advanced L5-S1 disk degeneratioin w/associated endplate irregularities & diskogenic subchondral signal changes.  Mild subchondral edema at this level may represent diskogenic reactive or low grade inflammatory change.  If diskitis is a clinical consideration followup gadolinium enhanced MRI may provide additional information.  Minimal L4-L5 disk degeneration.  Posterior annular tear L4-L5 and L5-S1.  Mild multilevel facet arthritis.

Sagittal images demonstrate no poster disk protrusion or spinal stenosis at 512-L1, L1-L2 & L2-L3.  Additional level specific findings as follows:

L3-L4:  No disk protrusion, spinal stenosis or foraminal encroachment.

L4-L5:  Minimal broad-based posterior disk protrusion slightly eccentric to left, no spinal stenosis or foraminal encroachment.

L5-S1:  Minimal diffuse disk protrusion minor left foraminal encroachment without nerve root displacement, no central canal stenosis.

Impression:
Advanced L5-S1 Disk degeration w/extensive diskogenic subchondral signal changes.

L5-S1  Minimal diffuse disk protrusion & L4-L5 negligible posterior disk protrusion without spinal stenosis or nerve root displacement.
