Unexplain weird symptoms please please advise!

This is someting that my own doctor cannot figure out after running several blood tests.

About 3 weeks ago I started to get dizzy spells, this was after an episode of high stress which resulted in heartburn.

Fast forward today and 3 general doctors.  Every time I get hungry I start having weird symptoms, such as:
distorted/ blurry vision
lots of pressure on the frontal lobe
stiffning of limbs
skin mostly on feet and legs is sensitive to wind. It feels like a tingling burning sensation.
Loss of awareness almost passing out
anxiaety

All of these symptoms appear as I get hungry, if I don't eat then they get worse.  As soon as I eat then I'm almost back to normal.
I used Extacy for about 3 years moderate to heavy, that was about 2 years ago.

The symptoms I'm feeling are almost exactly what I used to feel when I "came down" from my high on extacy.

Could this be Epilepsy?  Can my hunger start these seizure?
I'm very worried, since my primary doctor has no idea what is causing this.

I'm doing some glucose work to see if I'm hyperglocemic. But I think I should go see a neurosurgon.

Please please advise, I'm so lost and I just want my life back!

Hi,

How are you?
The symptoms that you are describing could quite possibly be due to hypoglycemia or low blood sugar levels.
The principal source of energy for brain function is glucose. If the glucose levels fall below normal you can get neurological symptoms like dizziness, faintness and blurry vision.
Please make sure that you do not skip meals. Eat at your usual time. Keep some snacks handy all the time. Hope this helps!

i had to rush rush out this mornning, but i still had 1 piece of toast and fruit. After about 2 hours i was in a shop and starting feeling sick, went to the toilets, i could hardly walk, legs getting heavy and head spinning i was about to faint, which i have done b4 when not eaten enough food. i felt completely out of control with my body.My friend at this time thought it was low blood sugar and got me a high sugar drink and within 5 minutes i was back to normal. Im a very big eater but burn food very quickly as ive never put on any weight my whole life. So im hoping it will show up on a glucose tolenrance test. Thanks for all the advice think i will make sure from now on i take nuts with me.

i have the same problem - it's hypoglycemic.  I've never done extacy so i don't think that caused it.  I have to eat to keep from feeling that way.  Even a cracker or one potato chip will make it stop for a while...

Thank you, I think I may be Hypo something. I have all the symptoms.

Last night I did something stupid, I tested myself and tried to skip dinner and I almost had a seizure (no joke), my body froze and my mind went numb.

Weird and scary.

Get the glucose tolerance test first. I went yrs. borderline
hypoglycmic w/ mental focus problems/fatigue/light-hd/etc.
Basic glucose test doesn't really show but clinical is an easy
dx's if doc pays attn. Stress will also thow off your insulin
that affects alot of things. Yrs passed & I rushed to a Dr appt
for something else w/o eating breakfast. When I came to a hault
in exam room, I was cranky/complaining/rambling/whining, which
isn't at all me. Dr left & returned w/ peanut butter on sliced
apples & orange juice. Said lunch on me! In 20 min. I was all
nice/smiley/pleasant. Said that was the first time he ever saw me act out & said we can spend $ & alot of time testing you or
eat snakes like hand full of nuts/fruit w/ protein (just sm-
snacks 6 times a day). Don't leave hm w/o a jar of nuts! 1 time
I went 5 hrs w/o snack & family shoved food. 20 min later I was
normal. I never did drugs but you need brain food. Some more
than others. Ask Dr if test was OK. If so, ask him to give you
a wk-sheet for brain mri to put mind at rest. Then you'll have
a report & referral ahead of the game. Hypo/hyper can still
show similar symptoms.
