Unknown Disease

I am a student in high school interested in medicine and I found out recently about a disease that affects the nervous system of a person and leaves his nerves dull to pain. I cannot find the name of the disease can somebody please help me?

You want to know a disease which affects a person's nervous system and makes nerve dull to pain.
I think what you are describing are generalized symptoms of any nerve injury or nerve dysfunction as they would produce pain, tingling and numbness as symptoms.
It could be peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy or neuropathic pain.
Can you be more descriptive so we can actually find out that particular name which you want.
