Unkown Autoimmune SFN & treatments?

Dear  Dr. Noopur,
I was just diagnosed with SFN, most possibly caused by auotimmune process. I am only 42 yrs old. I have morphea scleroderma (since @1975) & ANA titer of 1.7. The neurologist wanted to start me on IVIG once monthly which I had to decline due to no insurance.
I have read that SFN does not cause balance problems or muscle weakness, of which I have both.
For reference:
My tilt table was negative for cardi problems, EMG was normal, QSART showed left proximal foot Sweat output .06, and left forearm sweat output .13, all other areas normal. I also had 3 punch biopsies on left leg, do not have those results. All my labs were normal. (Even tested for diabetes, HIV, Hep, celiac disease, B 12 defeciencies)

My 2 questions if I may:
What other options do I have that may slow progression?
Is there any chance I can regain the small fibers since my symptoms started around 2000 and have slowly progressed?
It was up to my hands in 2002. I now can not do much work with my hands without pain - the ground glass with burning & joint pain (no arthritis), they also cramp easily, I cannot do stairs well anymore - they feel weak and burn and I need to either sit right away or crouch so I don't fall, I have balance issues, but mostly noticed as an occasional stumble, and I drop things a lot more lately.

I need to make some decisions about employment and need to understand what I'm facing.
