Do you live in Virginia?  There are some excellent teaching hospitals nearby who may be able to help track your problem down.  I wish the very best for you and hope you so have an answer and a cure.

the squirting sound in the neck has been reported with a blockage in the carotid arteries as well as leaks in the CFS fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord.

i would also look into inner ear problems, like damage to the inner ear, which could also cause imbalance problems.

Have you searched on spontaneous cerebral spinal fluid leak? definitely read about some symptoms like yours and the squirting noise in the neck area. Usually occurs after injury, surgery or lumbar puncture but can occur for no reason. Some said they had an injury many years before. Can have spinal fluid leaking from the nose and confused with allergy. Can be hard to track down the leak. Cisternogram is a test mentioned.  Also vertigo is associated with Meniere's disease of the inner ear but that is common so I imagine they ruled that out? do you live near any big medical centers? they may see more unusual things and be able to figure it out.
Good luck to you, keep looking for answers.

Get your vitamin B12 levels checked.  B12 deficiency can cause your symptoms.  If that's it, then you need to find out why.  It could just be dietary (not eating enough animal proteins) or something else like celiac disease, pernicious anemia, that means you can't absorb vitamins properly through food.  If you haven't been tested for B12, it's an easy blood test that your family doc can do for you.

get some imaging of your carotid artery in your neck.  ultrasound.  angiogram.  to check for blood clots, narrowing, blockages.

Hi there,

It sounds like you have been to a dr. I have the obvious connection, because it surprises me that they wouldn't suggest something like Vertigo. Read this and see if you agree, or let me know if this was already discussed. Since you don't have any other symptoms, I don't see it being too many other things. Let me know.
