Unusual Back pain with MS

52 yo woman diagnosed with MS  years ago.  Numbness in limbs or pain along with serious cognitive issues.  I don't have feeling in my thighs or butt.  Approx 9 months ago I started getting severe back pain, mostly lower back which makes moving painful. I had MRI last month and results were in part:

1.  L4-L5 level demonstrates mild circumferential disc bulge w/o central canal or neural foraminal stenosis. Moderate to severe bilateral facet arthropathy is noted.

2. There is a hemangioma in the vertebral body of T6.  Additionally, there is a 4mm focal T1 hypointensity in the superior end-plate of T9.  This is associated with enhancement following contrast admnistration.

3.  There is a focal disc bulge at T7-T8, causing an imprint on the ventral cord surface.

4.  There is mild retrolisthesis of C5-C6.  There is multilevel disc desiccation including C2-C3, C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7.  There is disc space narrowing at C5-c6.  Anterior osteophytosis is noted at C5-C6.

5. Evaluation of C4-C5 level demontstrates a mild circumferential disc bulge. Bilateral facet arthropathy is noted.

7. There is minimal anterolisthesis of L4-L5.  there is multilevel disc dessication, including L3-L4, L4-l5 and L5-S1.

8. Evaluation of the L3-L4 level demonstrates a minimal circumferential disc bulge. Mild bilateral facet arthripathy is noted.

8. Evaluation of the L4-L5 level demonstrates mild circumferential disc bulge.  Mild bilateral facet arthropathy is noted.

9. Evaluation of L5-S1 level demonstrates a minimal circumferential disc bulge .   Mild bilateral facet arthropathy.

I have MS also, which some neuro classify as a degenerative disease.I have had 2 radical lumbar surgeries and the rest of spine is a reck also.My c-spine c5- c6 , c6 -c7 facet joint degeneration, diffused disk bulges with spodylotic changes.
Thoracic t6-t7 paracentral disk herniation,t7-t8,t8-t9,t9-t10 diffuse disk bulges.Lumbar area is hard for them to veiw do to rods.
I really think that the MS really effects a persons spine.I have talked to many with MS that our spines are going to heck.
I wish I had some more answers for you,but know your not alone.
