Urinal Incontinence

by Ironside, Jan 18, 2009 12:13PM
I have just turned 41 I have suffered since birth with Cerebral Palsy, I have had numerous tests for my urine, and have tried several types of medication.  My Problem at the moment is I am finding it harder to hold on to get to the toilet this used to be only a night problem and I contacted my GP and asked for a supply of pads for night use.  Recently I am needing to wear them during the day as I have a very short control and find I cannot hold till I get to the toilet.

The other problem I have been diagnosed with is a bulging disk around 4 years ago and this problem seemed to start at the same time.  My mobility is quite poor and I walk with a zimmer and use wheelchair outside.

Is it possible that this is related to my CP or do you think it is my back, I am embarrised at this and would like some advice.

Thanks John
