Urinary - Bowel Functions & Sweating

Why would someone sweat when they need to use the bathroom?  The sweating begins before any conscious awareness of the need to void -  even just a little bit.  The sweating is worst when sleep 'postpones' the initial awareness, causing one to awaken drenched in sweat with the need to void.

There is considerable neck and lumbar pain, referring to the shoulders, arms, hands and fingers, and the same with the legs.

Spine myleogram showed only mild arthritis.  MRI's of the cervical and lumbar spine show disk degeneration, a disk tiltled backwards (retro ..?..osis), arthritis, and some disk decompression, and a slightly bulging disk, but nothing major that would/should be causing any real problems.  EMG's are repeated normal.  EEG, Evoked Potentials are all normal, too.  Routine bloodwork only showed small or moderated inflammatory indicators, and brain MRI is normal. No history of stoke.  Female.  

What other diagnositic procedures are used to pinpoint nerve related pain?  What about nerve and muscle biopsies - would they be helpful and for what would you recommend testing?
