I am a 40 yr old female with numerous "neuro" issues over the last 5-6 yrs, neg MRI of brain and spine.
1. I have experienced eye disorders that come and go, may last few weeks to few months then disappear( delay of one eyelid opening in the morning or if I am tired, painful eyes complete with redness) I have seen an Optholmolgist and ruled out Optic Neuritis. However did not call it anything else, did not say I have "dry eye syndrome.
2. Have had very painful sort of burning sensation localized just below right breast, it has awakened me from sleep. this has happened approx 4 times in 5-6 yrs.
3. Painful left foot just under the big toe...metarsal joint ?? Just appeared could not walk, without limping, would disappear for a day maybe, then return again for days...this lasted weeks. Then miracously disappeared.
4. Just recently I have COMPLETE urine retention, neg MRI, have been cath 4 times a day and still no diagnosis. have seen a urologist and indicated it is neurologial in nature, seen a Neurologist, ordered an MRI of spine ( neg) and I have no answers to date.
Could this be MS, with neg MRI of brain and spine?
please reply I would appreciate your assistance.
