Using a S.A.D. lamp in winter

Hello everyone.

Has anyone had the situation where after using a S.A.D. lamp just a couple of times, their temperature has risen and they have become inflamed?

Thanks

Mike

Hi there. SAD lights are full spectrum lights since they emit full spectrum of light waves. These can have benefits in seasonal affective disorder and restore normal sleeping patterns by simulating daytime and nighttime and reduces stress. There are other full spectrum lamps to combat jet lag, etc. usually these are safe, but some side effects are known. These are headaches, insomnia, eye strain. Discuss with your doctor if you are having rise in temperature with its usage. There must a minimum safe distance advised for appropriate therapy. Hope this helps. Take care.

If  an S.A.D. lamp is used accofrding to directions there is no logical reason for this to happen. It sounds coincidental.
