Hello,
I have had slight vertigo for about a year and a half. It got worst in the last few months, but not super bad. Then it will go away for days and come back. I just feel unsteady, like my surroundings r moving. It's worst when i stand up or walk around. I dont get it laying down, but a little sitting down. I notice it alot when im on the computer and when walking around. I have never ad it when driving though. Weird i can have it all day, walking around, but when i get in the car and drive dont notice it untill i get out and walk around.Only twice did it make me slightly nauesous. Also i sometimes feel like my body is heavy with the vertigo. Is that normal? Als in the last few years i get car sick really easy, when not driving, but never when driving, and i get this same motion sickness when playing video games, sometimes worst than others. Does anyone know what could be going on? Any info is much appreciated.
Thanx

I heard about this once on a documentary. I would go to your doctor, they can preform a vertigo test (i don't know the name). If you are diagnosed with vertigo they can give you drugs to manage it. It's very common. Good luck!

Google BPPV, Benign Proxymal Positional Vertigo.  It is a vestibular impairment.  You might also have Oscillopsia, which is bouncing vision.  I also  have that.  My symptoms are like yours, but I now take medication and it is better, but after nearly 9 years with it, I doubt it is going to go away.  The test that Tinners is talking about is called an ENG.  That is how this condition is diagnosed.  Best wishes.

Your symptoms causing the vertigo can be many, mine are constant and conditions vary. You could have inner ear problems. I would want to see ENT specialists. The feeling of heaviness can be vertigo but, could also be neurological. See a doctor and don't delay, take caution. Smiling on ahead.
