I am quite sure you we are dealing with the CPAP machine here. The machine does not allow the tongue to fall backwards while one is sleeping. This machine is used in the treatment of sleep apnea. It also helps vertigo associated with migraine.
Please post any other information you have on this news on the TV.
If you post over on the MS forum, you will find that one of the regulars there is a patient of the famous Dr. Epley, who developed the Epley maneuvers used in the treatment for vertigo. (I know the name of the maneuvers is hyphenated, but I do not recall the other doctor's name, unfortunately!)
Dr. Epley has invented a new device which someone apparently sits in and is spun around in different ways, as to get the crystals back where they belong in the inner ear. I know Quix has a link she can send you about it if you ask her about it.
I am very interested in the new device Dr. Epley has invented to get the crystals back where they belong. I would appreciate it if you could pass along the link.
