Vagal Nerve

by HorseWisper, Oct 12, 2008 01:48PM
Can head trauma damage the Vagal nerve? I have been diagnosed with a damaged Vagal nerve several years ago but was not told what caused the damage to nerve. My symptoms include passing out while coughing or choking, I also have severe neck and back pain w/spurs, diabetes, sweating, numbness upper thigh, insomnia, vocal distress, swelling of the tounge, stomach and colin problems, depression, ect. (the list goes on) Can the Vagal nerve cause most if not all these problems? (just wandering) sorry about the pun...lol. Also, I have been advised by my Dr. not to drive or operate any vehicle. I have read some great articles in this forum. Great Website! Thank You for any info you may provide. Have a great day!!!!
