Viral Meningitis

I was hospitalized with severe frontal head pain and pressure ONLY when sitting and standing! If I lay flat the pressure is decreased. A negative CT& MRI. Spinal tap CSF WBC of 26 gave way to a diagnosis of Viral Meningitis by my Interanal Medicine MD; however, the hospital staff neurologist was bold in stated he was not comvinced of Viral meningitis dx with CSF WBC 26 because my other symptoms were not textbook for Viral Meningitis.
I remained in the hospital for 7 days, not knowing my dx and not understanding why the disagreement between the two MDs. what are your thoughts on this? I have been out of the hospital for 4 days-still have head pain, short term memory issues, sluggish, swelling, etc.. Saw Internal MD today- gave me steriod injects and pain meds.. will follow up in 1 week!
Should I find new neurologist? Is CSF WBC 26 enough to say Viral Meningitis?
