WHAT TO DO???

I'M WRITTING TO YOU BECAUSE MY HUBBY IS 20 YRS OLD AND HAS HAD 3 SEIZURES SINCE HE WAS 18. WELL WE GOT A MRI DONE AFTER HIS FIRST ONE AT 18 AND IT SHOWED NOTHING. THEN HE HAD ANOTHER ONE A YR LATER AND ANOTHER 8 MONTHS FROM THAT. THEY DID ANOTHER MRI AND FOUND TWO GOOD SIZED CYSTS ON HIS BRAIN. THE DOC SAID THEY'VE BEEN THERE SINCE BIRTH BUT IF THEY'VE BEEN THERE THAT LONG THEN WHY WEREN'T THEY ON THE FIRST MRI??? AND HE ALSO SAID THAT THERE PROB NOT THE REASON HE HAS BEEN HAVING SEIZURES. THE DOC ALSO SAID TO ONLY GO 1 TIME A YR TO GET AN MRI, BUT I THINK THAT IS WAY TO LONG! SO MY QUESTION TO YOU IS SHOULD I GET A SECOND LOOK AT THE MRI AND WHY IS HE HAVING SEIZURES???

Brain cysts do cause seizures . There have been cases where patients improved markedly and the seizures were controlled after cyst treatment . Please take a second opinion on the MRI . Hope this helps you . Take care and regards !
