I, too, am experiencing a sudden warming sensation in the outer lower left leg. It doesn't hurt, but it is driving me crazy with worry. I'm going to see a doctor this week. This started a couple of weeks ago, not long after I started going back to the gym to work out. I also sit for long periods at work which could be a contributing factorFactor ix complex.
The warm sensation in the leg could be a transient symptom of nerve compression (neuropathy). The origin could be in the lumbar spine. You will also have to rule out vitamin deficiency.
Sometimes, it is as easy as changing the posture or altering certain exercises.
