Weakness and movement in left hand

A couple of days ago, I was sitting with my hands under my thighs and when I took them away, I felt a kind of throbbing in my left hand. When I looked at it, I saw that my thumb and my index finger where moving, but I wasn't moving them. It took them some minutes (could've been 2 to 5 minutes) to stop. I don't know if it's related, but I feel that hand getting weaker and numb. I also have an unusual strong headache on my right temple  that comes and goes throughout the day.
I'm 18 y.o. 45 kg. 155 cm
What could it be?

Thanks

I don't think you need to worry about this.
It is normal that the hands act a bit strange if you sit on them for too long. It is because the nerves get a bit upset from the temporarily loss of blood supply. It is not dangerous in any way.
The headaches sound like migraine headaches. It is quite common in your age to get them because of all the hormones circulating in your body, and all the hormonal changes. Usually they will calm down a bit when you get older.

If you are worried or if you get more symptoms a visit to the doctor is always a good advice, just to be safe. We can not diagnose you over the internet and we don't know your medical history. So internet is not a substitute for an old fashioned visit to the doc;).

Take care and keep us updated!

P.S If your hand really still is weaker than the other or if you have lost sensation in it, then you should go to the doctor for sure. D.S

You need an in-person neurological exam and an MRI/MRA as of yesterday.

It is unusual for a young person to have these symptoms.
