Weaning off Clonazepam after a short use

by gitl, Jun 05, 2009 03:00PM
I've been taking Clonazepam for 16 days (1x 0.5mg in the evening since 20.5.09).
I have just started noticing, however, that taking Clonazepam is probably agrevating my back injury pain and symptoms, so I would like to get off the drug completely. Given the details I've posted here,
what is the fastest (while safest) way I could wean off this drug?
Thanks a lot!
G.

You should not have a problem quiting . That is a low dose (i've been on 3 daily ) But,You can take half dose for a few days . It should help your back relaxing . I to have had 4 spine surgerys . You may have trouble sleeping 1 st. night off . but when you get tired you will sleep ! Bill
