West Nile and Alzhemer's
My husband had the early stage symptoms of Alzhemer's when he had a severe case of West Nile last fall.  He can now walk with a walker, but has cognitive imparement.  Will his mind get better--back like he was last fall?

Insofar as I know, West Nile virus does not cause cognitive impairment. (I contracted this disease and recovered completely, at no time suffering the sort of problem you refer to.) I guess people people can develop different symptoms, but my guess is that his ongoing problem is Alzheimer's.
