MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present? This could be due to neurological or psychological issues. Or as Professor Blaszczynski, a psychologist  at University of Sydney, attributes to a physiologic effect-    phantom vibration syndrome. That sound, caused by electromagnetic interference, occurs even when a mobile is not receiving a text message or ringing, and it can often happen when the mobile connects with a mobile tower. The "burst of electrical activity" may affect skin nerves, causing transcutaneous muscle stimulation and giving the impression of a vibration.  ( ref: http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/mobiles/phantom-mobile-phone-vibrations-why-we-get-them-20120208-1rc21.html)
Further studies may need to be done. If it persists or other symptoms occur, it is best that you have this checked also by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
