What does a dark patch on a t2 mri represent?

sorry if some of this doesnt make sense, im just a layperson and dont know alot about this stuff.

18/m, i underwent a brain mri for cognitive problems which seem left frontal lobe related (personality issues, difficulty with initiative, language comprehension and expression, terrible autobiographical long term memory (dont remember major details of my life), planning, feeling "spaced out" or slow, lack of internal monolugue or thought process (no verbal thoughts or awareness at all) and just "connecting" to my environment. hard to explain but i definitely feel something is "off" thats not anxiety or mental. i also get a non painful but very uncomfortable fuzzy pressure that is difficult to describe any time i try and concentrate or focus, which goes away after 5 minutes of stopping concentration. i just feel spaced out or not all there.

anyway on all of the top ot bottom slides (axial views? the brain is in slices, both hemispheres look symmetrical like 2 sides of a walnut) theres a small area at the front edge of the left frontal lobe where the tissue is darker than the tissue surrounding it. it appears on all 3 axial slides(t2, t2 flair, diffusion) in the same spot. i cant see it on any other slides or from other angles, and its only one pic, image 9 in all 3. on the diffusion pic, it doesnt look full near the front. it looks like someone took a bite out of my brain and the area thats dark in the t2 images is invisible. they all match up to the same area on every slide, so i dont think its a bad image or fluke. the area is about as big as a pinky nail.

the report doesnt mention the tissue at all. i researched some of the areas it talks about, and its entirely focused on the cerebellum and some of the structures in the middle of the brain and spinal cord, it makes no mention at all of cerebral hemispheres. i wont be able to go for a second opinion for afew months but i was wondering if this is normal or anything to be concerned about at all?
