What is happening to me?

by amy1596, Sep 28, 2009 07:29AM
I'm a 32 yrs female, 5'5", normal weight, non-smoker, very moderate drinker. For the last 10 weeks I have been experiencing tingling in the fingers and toes, both hands and feet.

I have also been getting a achy pain in my fingers and across the back of my hands. This pain comes and goes. The tingling is constant but becomes more noticeable in the evenings and when I am in bed at night.

I've had very mild muscle twitching in my limbs, hardly noticeable except when I'm sitting still or lying in bed. My left eyelid was twitching for a day or two but this has stopped.

I've had three sets of blood tests taken by my doctor. They are normal for B12, thyroid, blood-sugars etc the only exception was slightly high potassium and slightly low sodium.

I've had my reflexes tested several times, they seem fine for arms and legs.

I have no muscle weekness, no numbness, no loss of sensation, no vision problems, no exceptional fatigue, no nausea. I feel well in general except for the tingling and pain.

What can this be? I'm waiting for an appointment to see a neurologist but in the mean time I am worried. Could this be MS?
