What is the surgery for me?

by Victoria7775, Mar 30, 2009 03:52AM
I have seen ten different DRs. within the last year before finaly being diagnosed with c6-7 disc bulging.
MRI report done on 11/13/08
C3-4 Mild foraminal compromise by uncicate joint accentuation to the right. There is good bit of CSF still visible within root sleeve.
Disc and osteopthyte complex narrows both foramina at C5-6 greater to the left. Both nerve root sleeves are shortened and there is borderline central canal stenosis. C5-6 disc and osteophyte related narrowing of both foramina, somewhat greater to the right. There is shorting of the root sleeve.
I flew to LSI where they preformed a (L/F/D) on left C5/6 & (DTA) right C5/6 bilateral C6/7.
4 months no relief from pain.
Results from MRI report on 3/6/09
C3-4 no change
c5-6 Spondytosis related comprimise of both formina, greater to the right, is stable. No soft disc protusion or central canal stenosis.  No change.
C5-6 There are post-surgical changes with a laminwctomy to the left. There is edema within the soft tissues, which is probably post surgical. There is decopression of the left foramen, although there is still some impingament osteophyte. THe right foramen narrowing is sable. Negative for recurrent soft tisue protusion.
C6-7No changes. So what do I do know? Pleae help me.
