Dear Alan:
We all sweat in the arm pits and feet. How excessive do you sweat? If pronounced then you might have an overactive sympathetic system. There are medications that might help, see your family doctor about which ones might help you. The LVH is a worrisome sign as that means that your heart is having to push against too much pressure (your high blood pressure). Again, I would tell your cardiologist about the racing heart.

I've had complete numbness in my entire face, this has been for 2 days. I had episodes years back with chin numbness, but all of a sudden both sides of the face. Recently had a perfect and clear MRI targeted for MS, also had a cat scan 2 yrs back also was normal. Im under tremendous work related stress, with MS is it common to have entire facial nubmness? I thought it would be one side related, also nothing on MRI, what puzzles me is the face has so many nerves, for my entire face to have numbness freaks me out! I would have to have multiple leasons all over the place wouldn't you think? I dont feel the need to run to the emergency room, I can still function, im just worried, can we mentally bring this type of thing on ourselves If so, how is it possible. Thanks so very much for reading.
It would be very unlikely that this is MS (bilateral facial numbness, normal MRI, normal neurological exam). My best guess is that this is stress related. I would see your family physician.

I did see a doctor and he ran diabetes, B12, and thyroid function tests which came out normal.
Paraesthesias in the hands and feets, when they begin at the same time, are usually due to a systematic diseases of some sort. If the cause is due to a neuropathy it usually begins in the feet, and slowly moves up the body and involves the hands. I am not certain why you are having numbness. I would see a neurologist and get a thorough neurological exam.

The region of the body involved is my upper body and head. Not so much my face, but the back of my neck, back and chest.
This has been a condition I have had for many years.
With any health checks I have had, tests have come up clear, so I would like to know if you could advise me on the problem might be.
Thanks.

It is difficult to tell you for sure. Sometimes we have a sympathetic output that makes us sweat. Unless, it is causing problems, e.g. socially then I would just endure it. There are medical and surgical options, but unless there is a problem, again, I would just endure it.
