What's wrong with me?

Hi, don't know if this is the right section, please let me know if I need to move it.
For the past month or so I have been suffering with severe headaches, nosebleeds and infrequent short (but scary) blackouts.
The headaches always start in one spot in my head but then the headache grows to the whole of my head. The light hurts and I feel sick.
The nosebleeds normally last for quite a while and they are quite heavy, I normally look like I've been in an accident of some description afterwards!
The blackouts usually last between five and twenty minutes. They are quite sudden - very little warning.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Nikki

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,

How are you? Nosebleeds and headache may indicate  blood pressure problems or anemia among other things. While brief unconsciousness is often caused by dehydration, low blood sugar,or temporary low blood pressure, hyperventilation or  serious heart or nervous system problems.  I would recommend that you have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management.  The underlying cause may be determined with some laboratory tests such as complete blood count  and if possible, CT scan of your head.

Take care and keep us posted.

Oooooops!  Blackouts should not happen to anybody, period.  When you put the nosebleeds with that, you have no choice but to go see your family doc, to get a referral to a neurologist.  I do not know what this might be, sorry I cannot advise you.  But I do know enough that you gotta get in to see a doc straightaway.  In no way is this normal, I don't care what anybody else might say.
