MRI Cervical Spine Multiplanar multiecho MRI of cervical spine was obtained. Loss of Cervical lordosis and alignment. Vertebral bodies show reduced height with marginal osteophytes and normal
marrow signal.
Intervertebral discs are desiccated with reduced height.
Diffuse bulge of cervical discs with uncovertebral osteophytes causing
compression of b/I exiting nerves at C4/5 and It exiting nerve at C314.
PLL thickening lossification causing canal stenosis with compression of the cord
atC4 andeS.
Spinal cord shows abnormal signal at these levels with reduced bulk slo Ischemia.
Mild facetal arthropathy. Ligamentum flava appears normal.
Pre and paraspinal soft tissues appear normal.
Bony spinal canal diameter in cms :
C2: 1.4, C3: 1.2, C4 :0.8, C5: 0.9, C6: 1.2, C7: 1.3.
Impression: MRI Cervical Spine reveal:
Primary bony canal stenosis at C4 and C5.
PLL thickening I ossification causing canal stenosis at C3,C4 and C5.
Diffuse bulge of cervical discs with uncovertebral osteophytes causing
compression of b/I exiting nerves at C4/5 and It exiting nerve at C3/4. Spinal cord shovvs abnormalsignal ~tC4: and C~.with reducedbulk slo Ischemia. C5/6 dJs~"j~;b;;ttjiJg-bJi-~xiiing·ne~~~.""-"" ._.. _.,-.. ,---, """"'-" ." ---"--..=-,

Screening of Dorso-Iumbar spine reveal:
Discs desiccation with bulges in dorsal spine without neural compression.
Spinal cord, conus appear normal.
Extrusion of L5/S1 disc causing severe degree compression of tehcal sac
and It exiting and travering nerve root.
Diffuse bulge of L3/4, L4I5 discs with central protrusion causing early
compromise of thecal sac and compression of hll exiting nerves at L3/4
and L4I5.
