White matter brain disease

What are patients doing to help themselves when the whitematter of the brain has been damaged and how to slow down the disease?

there i had a icshemic insult  wich damaged my whitematter were i went along time with out sufficent oxygen due to carbonmonoxide posioning  pituraty gland was normal  but the tiny flairs in whitematter was damaged what can i do to help that i also have asthma periphal vertigo and giddines unspecified cardiac murmur and  ahearing loss in left ear  and ringing in ears as well  having a sleep test tommoro  just would likr to know if  ican think like i used to  its been 6 months since the exposure  and it seems like nothings changeing i also suffer from sever headaches   tremors  cant sleep good  always tired and tingling sensations in my brain  like when your leg or arm falls asleep what could that be  ido have al kinds of drs but it seems to be a slow procses alot peoplejust dont have  alot of experience  with carbonmonoxide posioning  and  iwas going to be seen  by hybaric at duke unversity but the day before my appointment they cancelled and said hybaric oxygen should have been done at the begining  i went to the er rigt after exposure from work my level was 16 .1  that had to evacuate the workarea but i was in the building that day  from 9 till about 845 that night had a headache from 1030 that morining  ireally think ineed to see a troxoligist but i dont know if it would help now michelle_navarro***@****
