Will I be scannable?

Will having titanium occular implants preclude me from any kind of imaging techniques such as fMRI, PET CT etc that may become available in the future to help with mental health diagnosis, or treatment possibilities such as deep brain stimulation or transcranial magnetic stimulation?

I am due to undergo an ossiculoplasty later on this year for partial hearing loss caused by a historical cholesteatoma but may reconsider depending on the answer to this question.

No. You can still have all of the scans you will just have to inform them before you have them done.

I have titanium screws and plates in my head and I have had countless MRI's. I am having another one on Wednesday.

That is an excellent question. I would ask the manufacturer of most of these devices, the Sieman's Corporation.
