Worried about loss of sensation

I'm a 25 year old guy and had been dx'd with urinary retention about 5 months back.

Since then I've been catheterising to remove the urine, but at that time I was sexually normal. Since i'd reported mild numbness like feeling in the legs, my uro had referred me to my neuro who checked all my reflexes, did detailed MRI of Brain and Spine and said that I was neurologically all right because he didn't see anything obvious. He ruled out MS as possible DX. I don't have any bowel or other motor problems.

I used to get the early morning erections well and had no probs with the sensations.

From about two weeks, I've noticed that my glans (glands) penis does not feel any sensation to touch. Also I have a weird feeling on my neck and head like some rubberband has been strapped over them, and constant eye pain, sometimes left eye, sometimes right eye.

Since yesterday, I noticed that I don't seem to have any +ve bulbocavernosus reflex. I'd previously self checked myself for this reflex and its sudden disappearance is keeping me worried I might have something big happening to me.

Is self checking of reflexes a valid thing to do? (Brain could always mediate it, right?). Should I go check with another neuro because I'm a long way away from home on work and not sure if my insurance covers MRI etc offshore.
