my CT brain scan revealed a left occipital arachnoid cyst. What can I do?

Hi there. You need to enlist your symptoms if any, which could possibly be arising due to the arachnoid cyst. If you were asymptomatic and comfortable then a record of the cyst size by your neurologist in today’s date would suffice and compared with the size after about 6 months on an MRI brain. If there is no increase in size, the cyst can be left like that. If there are symptoms, distressing and worsening, an MRI brain needs to be done and checked. Surgical resection is to be planned in this situation after optimal preparation. Hope this helps. Take care.
