alcoholism complication

Hello, I have been sober for 3 and a half years now. I have been having periods of severe fatigue, dizziness, disorientation and sometimes have problems with walking and balence. I try to hide it so others don't know. I am only twenty three but have had a signifigant history of alcoholism. At my worst drinking two bottles of vodka a day. Also my heart sometimes skips beats and will stop for a second and then feel like its pumping but nothing is flowing, kinda of hard to explain. I also have a severe intolerance to the effects ( now ) of narcotics, cannabis and alcohol wich I foremerly did not have. I eat well, get plenty of exercise, omega 3, B vitamins etc... . I don't smoke or use any drugs. Can you help me with any information?

You should be evaluated by a neurologist. Alcohol consumption over time can cause damage to the cerebellum which could account for your balance and dizziness. Also vitamin deficiencies of folate and B12 could cause similar symptoms. I know that you are taking vitamins, but you may not be absorbing them well.

By seeing the neurologist you can have a MRI and have the vitamin levels checked. Good luck.
