altered mental status

My daughter came in contact with carbon monoxide a week ago. I took her to local DMC Childrens hospital to have her checked out. Her carbon blood level was 3.0 originally but went down within a hour with oxygen. During the "poisioning", she was seeing things, had poor motor functions and could not talk properly. Eventually the doctors ruled out carbon monoxide poisioning and diagnosed her with Altered mental status. I dont know what this is. Is it normal for her to continue seeing things a week later? We took her to her doctor and he said the same thing but it is really starting to bother me that she is complaining about seeing all these things. I thought at first that it was a game but she has been becoming angry and upset about the fact that knowone else sees what she is. At the hospitalthey ran blood work and did a catscan with came out normal. Is there anything I can do???
