altered4ever???????

Last year, I had a terrible fall. I fell into a broken storm drain, right leg in, left leg...behind my head.  Since then, it seems with every passing day/month/hour...my pain just gets progressively worse. in September this year, I had a nerve conduction test that revealed mild chronic neurogenic atrophy. Ive made several attempts to locate some information on the internet, but was unsuccessful. For the first time in my life...my mind is moving faster than my body can carry me. I feel washed up, and in incredible pain. Somedays the pain affects every part of my body, from headaches, to the bottoms of my feet to painful to stand on. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated and I would be most greatful. I really dont even know what is really wrong, other than atrophy means "wasting". Ive tried excercising, but the pain just gets worse. The other day, I fell down some stairs because, my left leg just fell from under me, I guess due to the leg weakness. Unfortuately, my very active status, has been reduced to altered for life.   Also, there is a great deal of depression associated with this, I guess because of my very recent limitations to what I can and can not do. Somebody please help me to understand......
