: Dear SirI'm a french neurologist, deeply involved in the field of Multiple Sclerosis. I heard about a communication Pr RA Rudick presented during the last AAN, about antibodies against beta Interferon. I should like to know how do patients first treated with betaferon respond to Avonex when they shift to this drug? Is there any cross immunoreactivity between betaferon and Avonex? Do patients developping antibodies againsgt betaferon do the same against Avonex? It is a great concern for me because I have several patients under Betaferon and we are going to have Avonex in France in a few monthesSincerely yours Doctor Christian Meyrignac
